Concord Hospital dedicates East and North Wings

CONCORD, NH – More than 250 people celebrated the grand opening of the East and North Wing Additions of Concord Hospital yesteday. More than 250 guests attended the ribbon cutting and toured the new facility.

Hospital president and CEO Mike Green spoke about how the larger facilities help healthcare professionals improve privacy, efficiency, and comfort while enhancing the hospital’s ability to provide quality medical care.

Guests were invited to tour the 37-bed Emergency Department, the 20-room Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and the20-room Progressive Care Unit (PCU). Ground broken for new ambulatory care center north of Boston

Danvers, MA – A ground breaking celebration was held today for the new Mass General/North Shore Center for Outpatient Care in this North Shore community outside of Boston.

The 122,000-square-foot outpatient facility and 80,000-square-foot medical office building are a joint project for North Shore Medical Center (NSMC) and Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). The center will provide the latest in cardiac diagnostics, suites for minimally invasive surgery, and advanced imaging services, as well as serve as the expanded home of the new MGH–NSMC Cancer Center.

University of Michigan Cardiovascular Center opens, offers advanced cardiac care

ANN ARBOR, MI – The University of Michigan held opening ceremonies for its new 420,000 s.f., $215 million Cardiovascular Center (CVC), a centerpiece of the University of Michigan (U-M) Health System campus. The CVC receives its first patients on June 11.

The CVC provides one-stop access to most of the University’s adult heart and vascular care, and allow U-M specialists from different disciplines to work together as never before.

The Center was designed with two guiding principles: creating an inclusive learning and healing environment for everyone from doctors and patients to visitors; and creating connections through medicine, art, gardens and the natural world.

Yale-New Haven Hospital Gets Green Light for Cancer Center

BOSTON, MA — Yale-New Haven Hospital has received approval from the City of New Haven to proceed with the construction of its new, Comprehensive Cancer Center, designed by Shepley Bulfinch.

The 14-story, $430 million Yale-New Haven Cancer Center will reinforce Yale-New Haven Hospital’s reputation as a top-ranking cancer center and provide the region with a state-of-the-art diagnostic, treatment and research facility.
